FILM SCHEDULE:
11am-12pm: "Israel Inside"
A documentary film on how a small nation makes a big difference, hosted by Dr. Tal Ben Shahar who examines the core character strengths that have enabled Israelis to overcome challenges and turn a barren desert into a flourishing nation.
12:30pm-2pm: "Beneath the Helmet" A documentary film that explores five young soldiers' personal lives, dreams, fears and dilemmas, revealing the human side of Israel's military and the inspiring young people who make up the IDF.
7:30pm-8:30pm: "Mekonen"
A documentary film about an Ethiopian Jew that takes us on his incredible and emotional journey inspired by remarkable support from his Israeli community, and persevering to become a Paratrooper and Commander in the IDF.
8:30pm-10:30pm: "Raid on Entebbe"
True story film of a daring, successful Israeli Defense Forces commando assault on the Entebbe Airport in Uganda to free 248 hostages of a PLO terrorist hijacking in 1976.
Refreshments will be served.
